Film Content

Gyro stabilised camera mounts and exaggerated lens movement have been used to capture high definition aerial footage from high performance helicopters and has helped us to create impressive ride films.  The degree of lens shift is synchronised to match the degree of movement achieved in the Voyager II.

Our ability to project pixel to pixel of high definition 3D digital content on to a 8.2 x 3.2 curved screen within a moving simulation capsule delivers us our competitive edge.

Sky Plant

The platform has been designed to give  more than 2 metres of travel on the outer perimeter of the ship. Speed, stroke and inertia calculations were gained from trial tests carried out on an actual size prototype. These calculations have played an important part in the scripting and production of our in-house ride film productions. We have focused our efforts in producing movies featuring real footage as opposed to computer generated images (CGI) and this approach has been very well received.  The Voyager II incorporates an HD 2D and HD 3D playback projection system.
