Flying saucers and UFOs have always captured peoples' imagination and interest. The idea of space flight and perhaps interacting with space travellers from other galaxies fascinates us. The unique Voyager II is imposing and its sleek flying saucer design closely matches the public's image of a UFO spacecraft. The seamless design is extremely strong and lightweight and the ship's movement is fully integrated with the 3D HD show and an immersive effect is created with the huge 8 x 3 metre curved screen in a total light-locked environment. Simulation becomes reality when the video view at take-off (and landing) morphs into the 3D HD ride film.
The multi channel show control technology deployed in this craft has been designed by Space Dome's engineers and offers the latest super High Definition 3D visuals / 2 DOF (Degrees of Freedom) / High Definition surround sound and LED DMX controlled lighting.
